Gifted and Talented Classes (For OC and Selective)
Infinity College Year 3, 4 and 5 G&T classes are essential for students who intend to sit for the OC Placement and Selective Entrance Test. This course is specifically designed for current Year 3 students to Yr 5 (Term 1) and consists of weekly tests which assess knowledge and performance under exam conditions. By sitting OC Trial Tests, students systematically revise the entire course and can be confidently prepared for the OC & Selective Placement Tests! The G&T class allows students to practise exam style questions under exam conditions. After marking the answer sheets, each question is explained thoroughly step-by-step. Students receive their individual results at the end of the session as a record of their performance. This class will help your child to manage his or her time efficiently, minimise errors, overcome examination anxiety and perform at his or her optimum level under examination conditions. These Gifted and Talented classes are focused on General Ability, English Comprehension and Mathematical Reasoning. It includes:
- Intensive Comprehension testing
- Weekly trial tests with explanation
- Specifically focusing on complex vocabulary usage
- Teach students to use a range of successful strategies to solve problems in Mathematics and GA questions
- Student performance and progress assessed accurately on a weekly basis
- Constant ranking among students in the class
